Several factors – including the abandonment of legacy moniker Municipal District of Rocky View no. 44; neighbouring rebranding initiatives on municipal and provincial levels; and the deployment of a County-wide Growth Management Strategy – fuelled the Rocky View County rebrand. The client required a comprehensive and professionally executed brand strategy that would resonate with the various segments of its audience, and that would place the million-acre County shoulder to shoulder with its municipal partners.
Following extensive research and stakeholder engagement, BLEED developed a brand identity solution that evokes nuances of agriculture, tradition, and the Rocky Mountains that provide the County’s namesake. Our brand strategy extended far beyond delivery of a logo and tagline, however. We designed stationery, fleet graphics, trade show displays and countless other brand applications. We introduced proprietary photography that pinned the brand to the authenticity of those who live and work within Rocky View’s borders. And we produced a comprehensive standards manual to facilitate consistent brand management throughout the organization and across all touchpoints.
Following a successful launch in late 2009, Rocky View County continues to steadily build equity in its new brand.
